New Graduated from the Hellenic Airforce Academy

Jun 2026

Defended my diploma thesis Ikaros & Skyris at the Hellenic Air Force Academy (grade 100/100), receiving the Best Thesis of Class 2026 distinction.

I am a Computer Science Officer at the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY), where I work on machine learning and big-data analysis on operational meteorological and satellite data, in collaboration with the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT).

I obtained my BSc in Computer Science from the Hellenic Air Force Academy in 2026, graduating top of my class with the Best Thesis of Class 2026 distinction (100/100). My undergraduate research at the 360 Training Squadron produced an operationally deployed end-to-end flight-data acquisition and debriefing platform, comprising a custom STM32-based flight-data computer(Ikaros), a C++/OpenGL 3D replay and visualization engine (Skyris), and a phase-aware Isolation Forest pipeline for automated anomaly detection and flight grading.

My work sits at the intersection of software engineering, computer graphics, embedded systems, operating systems, aerospace machine learning, and real-time analytics for pilot training.
